Location: South London
Type: Residential Extension
Kieran Wardle Architects designed a textured extension to a Victorian terraced house in South West London for a young and growing family. The extension created an enlarged kitchen and dining space, opening the ground floor of the family home onto the garden, allowing natural light to flow through the house. The budget for the project was £65,000 including the finished kitchen and all wall, ceiling and floor finishes.
The new living and kitchen space was designed to transform the way the ground of the property functioned, creating a newly open and free-flowing sequence of rooms from the front to the rear of the property, creating a new and strong connection with the rear garden.
